This will be the site where I am going to keep a blog of everything that I am doing in Kenya. Hopefully I will have access to the internet in some way while I am there so that I can let everyone know what I am up to on a consistent basis.
I am currently planning the trip and working on some fundraising for the trip. So far everyone has been extremely generous, so thank you! I am very excited for this opportunity.

P.S. My friend Tommy will also be volunteering in Kenya with me. Tommy is a nursing student and so he will be volunteering in a hospital during the 2 weeks I am volunteering in the school. I will most likely be telling you all about some of his experiences as well, as I am assuming he will have some interesting stories to share. Here is a photo of him and I.
